Emily Finan - Owner

Crazy Art Class was created by certified art educator Emily Finan - who has been teaching art in public schools for over a decade. She has her Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art and K-12 Art Education from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Through Crazy Art Class, Emily provides quality arts programming to children by selling her art education lessons and resources to other teachers and offering small group and private lessons in the Metro Detroit area. She is currently employed as an art teacher in Lakeview Public Schools during the day and runs Crazy Art Class after school and during breaks. Crazy Art Class began in 2020 and continues to grow every year thanks to the support of our amazing community!

Emily currently lives in Saint Clair Shores with her mischievous cat, Enzo. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking. She also loves participating in trivia competitions with her friends, and traveling to new cities and countries.
